Todays VOSA reg's, NG fare changes in King's Lynn, X1 changes update & Anglianbus vehicle orders...

More FEC VOSA registrations
First Eastern Counties have registered yet more changes to their network - this time in the King's Lynn and Norwich areas from 10th April 2011.

King's Lynn
Changes have been registered to services 40/40A/41/41A, 42/42A, 43/43A and 44 - I presume these changes are to remove the NCC funded journeys that are being taken over by Norfolk Green, although there could be other changes included.

Norwich
Changes have been registered to services 10/10A, 12/12A, 14/14A/15, 18, 21/22, 26/27/27A and 29. Service 23 which competes with Anglianbus to Eaton has be been cancelled.

Sanders VOSA Registrations
Changes have been registered from 10th April 2011 for services 5, 16/17/18, 17, 22, 28, 34, 44, 45/48, 46 and 210. Service 6 North Walsham to Wroxham has been cancelled and there are new registrations for a Thursday only service 13 Holt to Fakenham and a Mon-Fri 35 Cromer to Wroxham.

FEC X1 changes ~ latest news
After months of speculation it seems that the 'big' changes that were due to take place to service X1 from the end of March have been cancelled for now.

First Eastern Counties have assured passengers that no material changes will take place to the route for now and that a full route investigation and punctuality improvement plan would be carried out in conjunction with Norfolk County Council before any possible future changes are decided.

Anglianbus vehicle orders ~ UPDATED!
According to the latest issue of Coach and Bus Week magazine Anglianbus of Beccles have placed an order with Optare for three new Optare Versa's.

It would also appear from information provided on the Anglia & Thames Valley Bus Forum by Colin H of the Ipswich Bus Page that Anglianbus have five Scania Omnilinks on order to replace the R-EMB reg Scania's that are being advertised for sale.
