New National Express service 446

The new National Express service 446 between King's Lynn and London via Peterborough started yesterday, fellow enthusiast Rob Brooks went to Wisbech Bus Station this morning to see what was on the service.

We had hoped that Stagecoach were taking over the running of the route using their Volvo B9R/Plaxton Elites as they run the rest of the 44* services through Peterborough but unfortunatly it was still being operated by Ambassador Travel using their Scania/Caetano Leventes.

This morning it was operated using FJ09DXC which unfortunatly has not yet had its destination reprogrammed and was showing "410 London" which I am informed is the London to Birmingham route which Ambassador also do the odd journey on.

UPDATE! I have been informed that Stagecoach are to run the 446 from the first week of June, they had been due to takeover the service this week but for unknown reasons had to delay the takeover for a couple of weeks!
