Bus service alterations due to the Tour Of Britain Cycle Race on Saturday 17th September 2011

From norfolkgreen.co.uk

On Saturday 17 September, the Tour of Britain cycle race finishes its final stage in the grounds of Sandringham House. This may mean possible delays to buses on Coasthopper, X8, 10, 11 and 48 during the afternoon, and will also mean diversions and special times to buses on the 11:

All buses on the 11 until and including the 1225 bus from King's Lynn and 1240 bus from Hunstanton will run to the normal route, except that for Sandringham they will stop in the coach park behind the visitors centre, rather than at the normal bus stop. After these journeys, buses will be diverted along the A149 to Dersingham where they will run along the full length of Manor Road to rejoin the normal route at The Feathers. The 1745 buses from King's Lynn and Hunstanton will run to their normal route.

West Newton and Sandringham will be served during the afternoon by special 11 buses to and from King's Lynn. These will run normally to West Newton stores then via estate roads to a stopping point behind Sandringham church. They will leave King's Lynn bus station stop 3 hourly between 1340 and 1640, returning from Sandringham hourly between 1410 and 1710. These will not be able to serve Sandringham York Cottages or Visitor Centre stops.
