RM471 has quite an interesting history - it was new to London Transport in 1960 as RM471 WLT 471, it later passed to Kelvin Scottish for use in Glasgow with fleet number 1916 and then on to the Badgerline Group's Frontline Buses subsidary in Birmingham when it was re registered KVS 601. It is now owned by A1bus.co.uk based in Peterborough and along with three other Routemasters is used for private hire, weddings and corporate functions.
