Slightly earlier than planned here is part three of our look back at 2011, so lets look what was reported here on Andy's Bus Blog in September, October, November & December 2011...

On the first day of the month Delaine put their brand new Gemini 2 into service, Norfolk Green loaned two double deckers from Stephensons Of Essex, members of the Anglia & Thames Valley Bus Forum went on a Megadekka tour & Anglianbus aquired some ex Stagecoach London Tridents, konectbus launched their King's Lynn to Watton service 1, First's RML2717 left Great Yarmouth for Scotland on the back of a lowloader, I attended Norwich Bus Rally with Norfolk Green & 107, konectbus aquired Citaro bendybuses 800-4 from London General and announced five new Enviro400's were on order. A1 Bus RM471 put in an appearance at the King's Lynn heritage open day, Norfolk Green aquired Dennis Tridents 10/11 from Ensignbus, it was the main event of the year Showbus at Duxford IWM, I attended with Norfolk Green and Spectra 9, Anglianbus aquired three brand new Scania Omnilinks and we had exclusive delivery photos from Jamie Vendy Norfolk County Council launched their Fair Fares campaign and launched a bus cuts consultation.

konectbus started to recieve their Mercedes Benz Citaro bendybuses, Optare launched the new Tempo SR, NCC Fair Fares campaign gathered pace, Norfolk Green Dennis Trident 11 was unveiled with its 16-19 branding, TfL launched their new real time bus info service, the Greater Anglia rail franchise was awarded to Abellio, Stephensons Of Essex launched their Breeze town network in Bury St Edmunds, Norfolk Green aquired Agoraline 130 from Go Goodwins and took over the Wormegay to King's Lynn market days bus and launched new route 7

konectbus recieved their first fully refurbished Mercedes Benz Citaro bendybus, David Bell reported from the Lincolnshire Vintage Vehicle Society Open Day, I went on a London Adventure. konectbus aquired three more Mercedes Benz Ciraro bendybuses and started putting their original five into service, Stagecoach X4 between Peterborough & Milton Keynes went gold, I had a second London Adventure, Mulleys aquired three ex Anglianbus Scania L113CRL's, and KLFM & Norfolk Green started their Christmas Toy Appeal .

Norfolk Green started repainting some of their Solos, 617 lost its M&GN livery in favour of standard livery, 608 was also repainted, the government gave the green light to the Intercity Express Programme bringing HST's to King's Lynn & Cambridge from 2018 Anglianbus evaluated the new gas powered MAN Ecocity demonstrator, London said goodbye to the bendybus, Network Rail opened the new Cambridge Station island platform, The first New Bus For London arrived in London, konectbus recieved their five brand new konectexpress branded Enviro400's and Julian Patterson sent us hot off the press photos from the ADL factory and Norfolk Green aquired Optare Tempo 112 from Ambassador Travel.

Thats it, our three part look back at 2011 is complete and what a year it has been!
