Mid Norfolk Memories plus another early konect & Simonds in King's Lynn

Today we take another look back into David Bell's fantastic bus photo archives, this time its mainly photos from the Dereham area in the year 2000 - before konectbus were the main operator.

Operators featured are Dereham Coachways, Norfolk Green and First Eastern Counties...

Before konectbus took the services over in 2002, Dereham Coachways ran the Dereham Nipper branded services on which Optare Metrorider M440AVG is pictured, this vehicle passed to Compass Travel, Sussex where it remained until withdrawal in 2007.

Here we have another Dereham Coachways minibus, this time Reeves Burgess bodied Mercedes Benz 709D GAZ3137 which is seen loading passengers in Dereham Market Place

Next we have Norfolk Green with Mercedes Benz Vario T619VEW on service 432 which ran between King's Lynn and Dereham - the service was previously operated by Dogwood Coaches, although I'm not sure when Norfolk Green took over the route.

Thats it for the Dereham in 2000 photos, but we have more! A couple of other random but interesting photos David also sent me are below...
