Over The Rainbow? First Norwich colour coded network - photo special!

David Bell visited the fine city of Norwich on Tuesday to take a look at the new First Norwich colour coded network which was introduced last Sunday.

It is the second time colour coding has been tried by First in Norwich, the last time being the "Overground" network several years ago, this time as well as a widespread renumbering and revision of routes, buses have been decked out with rather uninspiring vinyls in their corresponding route colours - red, orange, blue, purple, turquoise, green, yellow and pink. There is also a generic white Norwich Network version.
