All aboard the Suffolk Express

Stephensons Of Essex, one of the main bus operators in the West Suffolk area will begin operating their brand new Bury St Edmunds to Ipswich express coach service "Suffolk Express" tomorrow (Monday 22nd October)

The new limited stop Suffolk Express coach X14 will run five times a day, Monday to Saturday, offering a fast, direct service between the towns and will only stop at Bury Bus Station and Arc shopping Centre, Stowmarket (Bury Street/Ipswich Street) and Old Cattle Market and Tower Ramparts bus stations in Ipswich.

Great value fares are available at just £5 single, £7 return or £28 for a weekly ticket meaning the service is ideal for both commuters and day tippers, English National Concession Travel Passes are also acccepted (except before 0930 on Mondays to Fridays) and younger passengers aged 5 to 19 inclusive get discounted fares too!

You can even start or finish your journey in Ipswich or Bury on local buses as through tickets are available on both Stephensons own popular Breeze services in Bury and on Ipswich Buses local services in Ipswich.

The service will usually be operated by recently acquired Scania/Irizar Century OW03LFL which is currenly being prepared for service, so for the first few days the service will be operated by Volvo/Plaxton Paragon X400MTT.
