Looking back... local bus & coach operators at the 1985 Milk Cup Final - part 4

This the last in our four part Looking back... photo special in which we are bringing you a selection of photographs showing local operators who provided coaches and buses to transport Norwich City FC fans to the 1985 Milk Cup Final at Wembley Stadium.

This part covers smaller independant operators who are no longer around today.

We start with Youngs Coaches, the only operator in this post who are still around today, however they did cease trading for several years - here we see Jonckheere bodied DAF SBR2300 A131 MFL.

M&S Ward - Plaxton Panorama Elite bodied Seddon Pennine VI NMA 461L, this operator who were based in Mundesley later sold out to Sanders Coaches.

Dacks, Terrington St Clement - Plaxton bodied Leyland Leopard YHU 521J and Plaxton bodied AEC Reliance VPH 31S, this operator later known as Rosemary Coaches sold out to Eastern Counties.

Birds, Hunstanton - Plaxton bodied Ford R1114 JDB 948V, this operator also later sold out to Sanders Coaches.

Bridges, Saham Toney - Plaxton bodied Bedford YMT KDH 831V, this operator sold out to Norfolk Green who later sold on the operation to Konect.

Clarke, Swaffham - Plaxton bodied Volvo B58 DAY 1T.

Linkwise, North Walsham - Bedford YMT TPC 260S, this is another operator who sold out to Sanders Coaches.

Riches, Fressingfield - Plaxton bodied Bedford JRT 4V.
