Photo Miscellany 2

This is the second edition of our occasional Photo Miscellany series, featuring photographs that don't necessarily need a post of their own.

If you have an interesting bus or railway photograph that you would like to appear here on Andy's Bus Blog send them to us at andysbusblog@live.co.uk - it could be anything from unusual workings, vehicles on loan and demonstrators to bus stops, posters or just about anything else!

A really interesting relic...
We finish this edition with an interesting old photograph taken by David Bell in 1976 - he takes up the story: " The number plate identifies it as ENG 640. The PSV Circle Eastern Counties fleet history records it as being a Bristol L5G with ECW body new in July 1942 as LL100. It was renumbered to LL600 in 1946/7 and withdrawn from service in 1959. After a short stay at Ben Jordans it is recorded as having passed to an unidentified contractor in Norwich by January 1960 and then to a farmer at West Lexham in July 1962 which is roughly where I photographed the remains being used I believe for irrigation purposes."
