Meanwhile following on from last months popular Anglianbus special here is an update on the current status of the fleet changes taking place before service changes commence at the beginning of September...

The transfer of Optare Versas 302/303/304 and Optare Tempos 414/415 from Anglianbus to Konectbus is now in full swing - 302 AU08 DKL is now at Konectbus and has been repainted into their livery, 303 AU08 DKN has also now moved to Konectbus and is currently away for repaint and 304 MX58 KYV will move to Konectbus by September. Meanwhile 414 YJ55 BLX is now at Konectbus and awaiting repaint, the second example 415 YJ06 FZK will move to Konectbus by September.

These changes will mean that all MAN powered Optare Versas and all Optare Tempos within the two companies will be based at Konectbus.

In the other direction the transfer of the Optare Excel 2s from Konectbus to Anglianbus continues - 216 W216 PRB and 229 X229 WRA (reported and pictured last month) are now both with Anglianbus and repainted into their new livery, 217 W217 PRB and 219 W219 PRB will follow shortly.

Further fleet withdrawals at Anglianbus have also taken place since our last update - Alexander ALX400 bodied Dennis Tridents 700 V161 MEV, 701 X251 NNO, 702 X384 NNO and 704 X386 NNO have all been withdrawn, another movement to report is Optare Solo 910 MX58 XDB which has been transfered to Chambers, a point to also note is that the Anglianbus fleet is now 100% low floor.
