Looking back... Coaches in the East - part 1

We continue our well recieved Looking back... series with the first in a brand new three part special showing another interesting selection of coaches photographed in East Anglia during the 1970's and 1980's, all of the photos in this three part special are from David Bell's fantastic archive...

This part shows four coaches operated by four different operators, all but Chambers (now part of the Go Ahead Group) are no longer around.

Chambers - Willowbrooke bodied Bedford YRQ SCF 344N, this vehicle was new in 1974 © David Bell.

Rules - Yeates bodied Bedford SB5 UTL 78, this bus was new to Delaine in 1962 and was later operated by Chambers before passing to Rules © David Bell.

Norfolk's - Marshall bodied Leyland Leopard 277 AUF, this vehicle was new to Southdown in 1963.
