Wolferton Scarecrow Festival this weekend...

This weekend will see the popular biennial Wolferton Scarecrow Festival take place, over the Bank Holiday Weekend 24th-26th August 2013 around 150 scarecrows with a variety of themes will be on display around the village, the event which raises money for various charities will also include a number of other attractions including a Punch and Judy show, a range of childrens games as well as light refreshments.

There will also be special exhibitions in the village church to commemorate the Queen's coronation in 1953, the East Coast floods in 1953 and an RAF Tornado crash in a field near Wolferton in 1983.

As well as free parking for up to 800 cars, Norfolk Green will be running a special free bus service from King's Lynn - on Saturday 24th the bus will leave King's Lynn bus station at 1050 and return from Wolferton at 1600, whilst on Sunday 25th & Monday 26th buses will leave King's Lynn bus station at 1015 and 1110 and return from Wolferton at 1530 and 1630.
