Looking back... Coaches in the East - part 3

We continue our Looking back... series with the final part in this brand new three part special showing another interesting selection of coaches photographed in East Anglia during the 1970's and 1980's, all of the photos in this three part special are from David Bell's fantastic archive...

This part shows two coaches, a pair of Bristol VRs and a coach converted into a mobile ice cream parlour - enjoy!

Next we see Bure Valley Coaches Duple bodied Bedford YNT BNO 691T, the photograph was taken in Bell Avenue - once a favourite parking area for coaches visiting Norwich but now swallowed up by the Castle Mall Shopping Centre. This coach was new to Eastern National in 1978 © David Bell.

Not coaches, but interesting all the same are this pair of Cedrics Northern Counties bodied Bristol VRs NRD 57M & NRD 64M, they were both new to Reading as part of a batch delivered in 1974 © David Bell.

We finish with another interesting non-PCV, seen in Great Yarmouth is ex Trent Willowbrooke bodied Leyland Leopard 213 CHH which when photographed was in use as the Marco Polo Mobile Ice Cream Salon © David Bell.
