Out & about in King's Lynn ~ bus station roadworks

We spent an enjoyable afternoon in King's Lynn on Wednesday, where there were resurfacing works taking place on the bus bays in the bus station, this meant there were alternative stopping arrangements in place for the day, however Norfolk Green had plenty of staff around the bus station that did an excellent job directing buses and helping passengers to their temporary boarding points.

Included in this post are a selecion of photographs taken on the day, due the camera running out of power(!) the photographs below have been supplied by our companion David Bell...

We also noted a couple of unusual allocations on the Konectbus 1 service to Watton and Dereham, having previously been worked mainly by Optare Excel 2s (most of which have now transferred to Anglianbus) the service now sees an interesting variety of vehicles in use including Tempos, Versas and East Lancs Lolyne bodied Tridents.
