Looking back... Norwich in 2004

Our regular correspondant David Bell has been in touch with an interesting selection of photographs taken in Norwich, nine years ago back in 2004...

David comments: "I was scanning some slides the other day and came across a selection from Norwich taken in 2004. Nearly all the photographs were taken in Golden Ball Street by the Woolpack Inn which was a very good location for nearside shots. I say was because hardly if any service buses use this road now - all traffic from Castle Meadow to St Stephens Street goes straight up Red Lion Street instead. The open-topper looks in better condition than the battered old thing which was running this year!
