Midland Red 5226 is a 1963 Leyland Leopard ohotographed on express service in 1979 During the 1970s there were many different operators that were to be seen on express services through Peterborough, Midland Red being one of them. Lincolnshire OFW 801 fleet no 10 is a 1957 Bristol SC4LK which had been converted for publicity purposes by 1977 when this picture was taken. It is seen in Peterborough City Centre. A couple of sister vehicles survive in preservation © Philip Slynn.

Finally MBL 831 is a 1956 Bristol LD6G which was being used by a local garage for publicity purposes. Photographed in 1976 it was new to The Thames Valley Traction Co © Philip Slynn.
