Two new buses join the Coach Services fleet

It has been ages since we last did an update on the Thetford-based Coach Services fleet, however the addition of two brand new buses to their fleet in the last couple of months has given us a good opportunity to have a catch up...

The first new vehicle to join the fleet back in September was Alexander Dennis Enviro200 SN63 NBB, this bus is usually allocated to route 86 which links Brandon with Thetford and Bury St Edmunds.

Shortly after, the Enviro200 was joined by another new vehicle - Wrightbus Eclipse Gemini 2 bodied Volvo B9TL CS63 BUS, the first brand new double deck bus to join this fleet, it has been acquired to add extra capacity on the busy route 84 which links Thetford and Bury St Edmunds.

The new Gemini 2 joins two ex Go Ahead London General Plaxton President bodied Volvo B7TLs acquired earlier this year, X509 EGK (pictured below) and X589 EGK (pictured above) can often be found working on routes 84/86, the latter is also fitted with seatbelts for use on school contracts.

In recent coach fleet news, Jonckheere Mistral 50 bodied Volvo B12M SG03 ZEY has been given a fresh lick of paint, whilst simlar SJ04 HXZ has left the fleet after being sold.
