For our latest Out & about photo special our regular correspondent David Bell shares a selection of photographs from his recent visit to Bedford where a much needed redevelopment of the towns bus station is currently taking place...

David reports: "Work to replace Bedford bus station started on 27th January. None of the old reverse-out bays are now in use though buses are still laying over in the bus station and some services are running through it. Other services are starting on the bays which were outside the main concourse and used by some services and taxis whilst some departures have been relocated to nearby River Street. The new bus station is scheduled to open some time this year. Note the Peterborough-based bus being used on a Bedford local service and also that Uno now run into Bedford on a service to Milton Keynes via Cranfield University.
