Ambassador Travel - Not yet reported on this blog is the arrival of three new Caetano Levente bodied Volvo B9Rs for use on National Express services.
We sighted BF63 ZSN in King's Lynn working on the long haul 308 Great Yarmouth to Birkenhead service last week.
Coach Services - Several bits of fleet news to report from the last few months, courtesy of Alan Cooper. Van Hool bodied Volvo B10M 100 BGO was withdrawn after sustaining damage in an accident back in December, it has been replaced by newer Van Hool bodied B12M PJZ 9498. A further new arrival is Plaxton Profile YN10 EOA in the Euroview Coaches fleet, whilst Wrightbus Solar bodied Scania YN57 FZL is being advertised for sale in the latest issue of Coach & Bus Week magazine.
First in Norfolk & Suffolk - Recent arrivals at Great Yarmouth depot are the first of a batch of seven Alexander ALX400 bodied Volvo B7TLs being cascaded from First Leicester, so far 32062 W422 SRP and 32063 W223 XBD have arrived and have been noted in service - keep up to date with the latest happenings over in Great Yarmouth on the excellent East Norfolk Bus Blog
Go Ahead konectbus & anglianbus - Registrations for changes to various konectbus and anglianbus routes appeared on the VOSA website earlier this week, the most notable of which is the registration of a new route for konectbus, that being the 22 between Weybourne, Sheringham & Cromer on the North Norfolk coast, the service is expected to run hourly, seven days a week.
Other konectbus services due to be altered are the 2/2A/50/50A/51 & 52 whilst over at anglianbus changes are due to take place on the 7/7A/60/61/62/83/83A/84/87 & 88. All of these changes are due to commence from 20th April 2014, we will of course bring you full details of the changes as soon as the information becomes available.

Elsewhere David Bell sighted konectbus Wrightbus Pulsar Gemini bodied DAF DB250LF 504 YJ05 PXE on the 0920 route 1 to Watton from King's Lynn last Monday, as seen above - it's certainly unusual to see this vehicle type allocated to this route!
Finally, as widely reported on other local blogs, anglianbus currently have Alexander Dennis Enviro300 bodied Scania gas bus demonstrator YT13 YUK on loan.
Sanders Coaches - The Scania OmniCity DD YR10 BBO acquired from Beestons, Hadleigh in late 2013 has been repainted into the Sanders livery and was looking resplendent when photographed (see below) by David Bell at Norwich bus station last week.

A further addition to the fleet is ex Eastons Holidays, Stratton Strawless Scania OmniLink YN08 HXZ acquired following the recent Sanders takeover of that operators only local bus service.
Stagecoach in Cambridgeshire - Two additional Alexander Dennis Enviro400s from Manchester have joined the fleet at Cambridge, 19164 MX07 HNF and 19165 MX07 HNG, the latter of which has been noted in use on the Citi1.
In other news Stagecoach has confirmed to Steven Knight Media that the Bedford-based X5 fleet which operates between Cambridge and Oxford is due to be replaced in 2015, various vehicle types have been tested on the route, the most recent of which was Megabus Plaxton Elite i 54219 YX63 NHF which carried out a test run last week - look out for further information on the new X5 vehicles as it becomes available.
Stagecoach Norfolk Green - Most buses now carry the new Stagecoach five digit fleetnumbers, in addition the old Norfolk Green three digit fleetnumbers have in the main been removed, with that in mind we will now switch to using the new Stagecoach numbers here on the blog, in other news Optare Solo 47884 Y58 HBT which was previously on loan at Western Greyhound has re-entered service in King's Lynn.
and finally... It was good to see Peelings Coaches smart former konectbus Optare Excel V204 ENU back in service on their market day service in King's Lynn yesterday, the service which runs on Tuesdays and Fridays has often been worked by a coach when noted by us lately.
Unfortunately the photograph taken didn't come very well so for something a little different we have applied a cartoon-style filter to it!
This new feature which we plan to publish once or twice a month replaces our former Photo Misc and Notes from North West Norfolk series' which have now been discontinued.
