Notes from Cambridgeshire, Norfolk & Suffolk 19/04/14...

Konectbus' latest round of service changes take place from tomorrow, included are changes to the 2/2A, 50/50A, 51 & 52, as well as the introduction of The Norfolk Coaster 22 tourist service between Cromer, Sheringham, Weybourne and The Muckleburgh Collection, a specially branded part open top Volvo Olympian 50 R739 XRV from Southern Vectis has been acquired to run the service.

The smart vehicle was sighted on driver familiarisation duties in Sheringham earlier this week by one of our correspondents Des Speed, he managed to capture a few photographs of the bus which are shown below - photos include an overview of the bus as well as close ups of some of the branding © Des Speed.

Norfolk Green are due to make changes to some of their services from Saturday 3rd May, timetables are being revised on the Coasthopper, 10/11, X8, X29, 48, 56 & 505.

Simonds Countrylink have acquired another brand new MCV Evolution bodied Volvo B7RLE.

Registered BU14 EGD, it is the third such vehicle to join the fleet, our regular correspondent David Bell photographed the new addition in Norwich earlier this week as seen above.

Stagecoach have made available via British Bus Publishing the details of the buses from their 2014/15 vehicle order which are due to make their way to our area in the East.

Cambridge are expecting...
• 11 Stagecoach Gold specification Alexander Dennis Enviro400 bodied Scania N230UD for the Cambridge to Haverhill routes - expected fleetnumbers 15950-60.

• 6 Alexander Dennis Enviro200 for the Uni4 route - expected fleetnumbers 37210-15.

Peterborough are expecting...
• 20 Alexander Dennis Enviro200 for Citi routes - expected fleetnumbers 37216-35.

Go Whippet have acquired a second Wrightbus Eclipse Solar bodied Scania L94UB X471 AHE, also ex Premiere, Nottingham.
