Remembering Neaves of Catfield - photo special!

It's been a quiet last month post-wise on the blog so we're planning to get back up to speed over the next few weeks with an increased selection of posts, we've got several interesting photo features in the pipeline, plus the usual local news, fleet updates & more - so look out for those!

To start this month off here is a photo special looking at long standing Norfolk independent Neaves of Catfield whose small bus and coach operation was recently acquired by Sanders of Holt.

With the cessation of services we thought it would be a good opportunity to take a look back at a selection of vehicles they operated mostly on their services into Norwich, all of the photographs in this post have kindly been supplied by David Bell...

This was new to Midland Red as Leyland National NOE 562R in 1976, it later passed to Tellings Golden Miller and then to London & Country where it underwent conversion and later operated at Guildford © David Bell.

CHZ 4795 - One of Neaves more recent vehicles is this Plaxton Premiere bodied Volvo B10M, new to Wallace Arnold in 1996 as N210 HWX, it has now passed to Sanders following their purchase of the company © David Bell.

AU03 HWS - Then newest bus of the bunch is this Optare Solo M920, this was new to Anglian in 2003 before passing Neaves, like most of the other members of the fleet this has now passed to Sanders © David Bell.
