NNR Vintage Transport Weekend 2014 - part 2

The North Norfolk Railway vintage transport weekend took place on the 5th/6th July and one of our regular correspondents Colin Apps was there on the Sunday to photograph some of the interesting variety of buses (and trains!) that were either working or on display at the event, he has kindly send us the following selection of photos to share with you. This feature has been spread across two parts - enjoy!

We start this part with smart Plaxton Panorama bodied AEC Reliance KWE 374D, this coach dates from 1966 and was new to coach operator Sheffield United who were one of the first operators to offer continental coach tours © Colin Apps.

Next up we see a local rally regular, Lowestoft Corporation Leyland Titan PD2/47 PBJ 2F, this bus dates from 1967 and is seen here in Holt © Colin Apps.

2014 marks the 60th Anniversary of the Routemaster, seen here in Sheringham is RML2321 CUV 321C which was new in 1965 © Colin Apps.

Moving on to the first of this part's railway selection where Class 101 DMU 51192 is seen at Holt station © Colin Apps.

The next loco featured is 8572, the B12 is the M&GN societies flagship locomotive. It was built in 1928 to a Great Eastern design, for express passenger services in East Anglia. It was preserved by the M&GN society in 1963 © Colin Apps.
