Out & about in Northumbria - part 3

For the first of today's posts we conclude our trip 'up north' to Northumbria to take a look at something a little bit different for our latest Out & about feature, this guest post which has been spread across three parts has been kindly provided by our regular correspondent Philip Slynn.

V641 KVH - This DAF/Optare was new to Arriva Yorkshire in 1999. Unfortunately even multiple shots failed to identify the destination, and I never saw it again. Photographed in Ashington © Philip Slynn.

As well as owning a couple of Routemasters Chain Bridge Honey Farm not far from Berwick use this Bristol FLF as a cafĂ© (the cakes are very good). It was new to Bristol l Omnibus in 1964 as fleet no 7149. I first photographed it in 2007 and since then it has had an additional door on the offside © Philip Slynn.
