Eastern Counties returns to Ipswich!

First in Ipswich have recently repainted one of their Alexander ALX400 bodied Volvo B7TLs into a special heritage Eastern Counties livery, the vehicle in question is ex First Norwich AU53 HJV now renumbered VA479, our regular correspondent David Bell visited the Suffolk county town last Saturday and has kindly sent us a trio of photographs of the repainted Volvo operating route 66 to share with you - enjoy!

The bus certainly looks very smart, for comparison below we have an early nineties shot of Eastern Counties Leyland Olympian J622 BVG wearing the livery VA479 is based on.
