Looking back... Lincoln in the early nineties - part 2

As previously mentioned, for our next few Looking back... features we are once again heading back to the early nineties with a selection of photographs kindly supplied by our regular correspondent David Bell, in this particular feature which has been spread over two parts we are focusing the local bus scene in Lincoln - operators include Lincolnshire City Transport, Roadcar and also a number of smaller independents that could be found operating in the area at the time.

We start this part with this smart photo of Roadcar Leyland National CHH 212T, it is seen working on the 66 to Birchwood. This bus was new to Cumberland Motor Services in 1979 (c) David Bell.

Moving away from Roadcar briefly for this photo of Silver Dawn ECW bodied Bristol VRT MAL 795P which wore an overall advert promoting JWE Foneshop. This bus was new to Trent in 1976 (c) David Bell.

Back to Roadcar for this shot of coach seated ECW bodied Leyland Olympian B503 FFW which carries branding for the Humber Coachlink, it was new in 1985 (c) David Bell.

The newest vehicle included in this feature is Roadcar East Lancs bodied Volvo B6 N321 JTL which is seen not long after it was new operating on the 66 to Birchwood (c) David Bell.

The penultimate photo in this feature is Lincoln City Transport Northern Counties bodied Leyland Atlantean LEO 735Y, this bus was new to Barrow Corporation in 1983 (c) David Bell.

We finish with another vehicle operated by Silver Dawn - ECW bodied Bristol VRT VUA 473X, this bus was new to West Riding in 1981 (c) David Bell.
