Out & about in Ipswich - part 1

We have thankfully been able to find a work around for our current technical issues so are pleased to be able to return sooner than anticipated with the first part of our Out & about in Ipswich special, as well as special railway report which can be found below this post.

It’s been a fair while since our last general Ipswich update and quite a lot has happened in that time, David Bell recently visited the Suffolk county town and over this two part feature with the help of a selection of photographs we will take look at some of the latest bus related activity noted, if you missed our special post reporting First’s new Eastern Counties heritage livery in Ipswich you can find it by clicking here.

Firstly we have one of First’s most recent Ipswich arrivals YX09 ADO, one of four ADL Enviro200s transferred from Essex, as you can see it wears Ipswich’s new livery featuring a charcoal front end © David Bell.

Another new livery seen in Ipswich is this eye-catching one off at Ipswich Buses, Optare Solo YJ05 XNY wears a special pink and black livery for the All About Ipswich waterfront shuttle © David Bell.

Next up is one of Ipswich Buses most recent arrivals, ADL Enviro200 YX14 RWL which is pictured near the Old Cattle Market bus station, it carries route branding for service 111 © David Bell.
