Today we are concluding our latest two part Rail Replacement special, it's one that has been featured on the blog in the past - Three Bridges, the large scale closures which take place there always turn out an interesting selection of vehicles and operators covering the lines South to Brighton and Eastbourne, the selection of photos included in both parts of this post were taken on Saturday 11th October 2014 and have kindly been supplied by David Bell.
First up in this part is this striking shot of Go Ahead London Alexander Dennis Enviro400 SN13 CJO just after a downpour (c) David Bell.
Seen during an spell of rain at Three Bridges is Compass Bus Alexander ALX400 bodied Dennis Trident T183 CLO, dating from 1999 this bus was new to Metroline and after life in London operated for K&H Doyle Coaches before passing to Compass Bus (c) David Bell.
Another Alexander ALX400 bodied Dennis Trident seen on the rail replacement was Renown Transport Services Y438 NHK, this bus was new to Stagecoach London in 2001 (c) David Bell.
Next up from the smart Seaford and District fleet is Plaxton Pointer SPD bodied Dennis Dart SLF V14 SEA, this bus originally carried registration V161 EFS and operated for Lothian (c) David Bell.
The penultimate photo in this part shows another vehicle from the Compass Bus fleet - Alexander Dennis Enviro200 GX62 CNN, this bus can often be found operating on Compass's Brighton area services (c) David Bell.
We finish this feature with a coach, Wood's Holidays of Bognor Regis VDL Bova XHD122-410 Magiq S55 FYE, this smart coach was new to DAC Coaches, Cornwall as WA57 CYZ and passed to Wood's in 2009 (c) David Bell.
