In another of our Looking back... features we are travelling back to the early nineties to see a selection of coaches from East Anglia visiting the Ideal Home Exhibition at the Earls Court Exhibition Centre in London - all of the photographs in this post have been kindly provided by David Bell.
First up is this smart Setra S216HD TSU 611 seen operating with Boons of Boreham (c) David Bell.
Next we have a vehicle from Go Whippet, Plaxton Paramount bodied Volvo B10M J723 KBC, it is one of a pair new to this operator in 1992 (c) David Bell.
Here we have Cooks European of Biggleswade and their smart Van Hool bodied Leyland Royal Tiger HIL 3474, this coach was new to Eddie Brown as C51 CWX in 1985 (c) David Bell.
Wearing Stagecoach's original livery is United Counties Coachlinks branded Plaxton Paramount bodied Volvo B10M, it is one of a batch of six new to this operator in 1988 (c) David Bell.
A colourful coach in attendance from Ambassador Travel was Plaxton Paramount bodied Volvo B10M (yes another!) G380 NAH, it is one of seven of this type new to the Ambassador Travel fleet in 1990 (c) David Bell.
The penultimate photo in this feature is not a coach but instead PC Coaches of Lincoln Mercedes-Benz minibus J1 PCC, this cherished registration has been carried by numberous vehicles since this photo was taken (c) David Bell.
The final photo in this post features Sweyne Van Hool Alizee bodied DAF J77 OLT, as you can see from the image it looks like the registration plate has been altered to read J Holt (c) David Bell.
Many thanks to David Bell for the photographs included in this post.
