Out & about in Norwich before Christmas

Our regular correspondent David Bell visited Norwich just before Christmas to catch up with some of the latest bus related goings on in the city, included in this post are a selection of the photos he took on the day including vehicles from First, Sanders and Swift...

First up is one of the six brand new Wrightbus Streetlites introduced in the city by First earlier this month, this one 47511 SN64 CRX is seen working on the 14A towards Wymondham (c) David Bell.

Repaints into the new livery at First continue and are expected to accelerate in the coming months, the first bus to wear Turquoise Line colours is Plaxton President bodied Volvo B7TL 32100 LT02 ZCJ which when pictured here was operating on the Orange Line to Old Catton (c) David Bell.

More recent additions to the First Norwich fleet are a batch of Alexander Dennis Enviro200s being transferred from Lowestoft to replace older Optare Solos which operate on the Purple Line 39, seen here is one of the first to enter service in the city 45118 ST09 JPT (c) David Bell.

We come to the last First vehicle in this post now, smart Norwich based Wright Renown bodied Bolvo B10BLE Driver Training vehicle 60808 S569 RNA (c) David Bell.

The penultimate photo in this part shows Great Yarmouth-based Swift Taxis rare Autosan Eagle BV57 MTJ which carries the name Swift Sandpiper (c) David Bell.

We finish with a photo from North Norfolk independent Sanders, East Lancs bodied DAF DB250LF PM03 EHU is a recent addition to the fleet from the Isle Of Man (c) David Bell.
