Out & about in colourful Luton - part 1

David Bell visited Luton last week to catch up with the colourful bus scene that can now be found in the Bedfordshire town, featured in this two part photo special are a cracking selection of photos including Arriva's new Wrightbus Streetlites that can be found operating in the area as well as other vehicles from the Arriva fleet and from other operators including Centrebus, Stagecoach and Uno - enjoy!

Arriva 3654 LK14 FTD
First up in this part is this very smart Arriva Sapphire branded door forward Wrightbus Streetlite, number 3654 LK14 FTD is seen operating towards Watford on the 321 (c) David Bell.

Arriva 2517 LM64 JOU
Recently added to the Arriva fleet for local services are a batch of wheel forward Wrightbus Streetlites, number 2517 LM64 JOU is seen here working on service 28, it wears the green and aquamarine version of the Arriva livery carried by low carbon and hybrid vehicles (c) David Bell.

Centrebus 569 YX14 RWW
Next up is Centrebus Alexander Dennis Enviro200 569 YX14 RWW which is seen operating on the route for which it is branded - the 10 to Marsh Farm (c) David Bell.

Stagecoach East 53612 KX58 NCE
Stagecoach's fleet of coaches which operate service 99 between Milton Keynes and Luton Airport have recently been upgraded with Plaxton Panther bodied Volvo B12Bs displaced by the new coaches on the X5 between Cambridge and Oxford. Seen here displaying the routes new branding is 53612 KX58 NCE (c) David Bell.

Arriva 3956 KX12 GZT
Back to Arriva for the penultimate photo in this post, seen here operating on one of the Luton Busway routes is Wrightbus Eclipse Urban 2 bodied Volvo B7RLE 3956 KX12 GZT, it carries branding advertising Green Line links to London (c) David Bell.

Arriva 3602 KE55 CTU
Another Luton Busway service is pictured here, Arriva Wrightbus Eclipse Urban bodied Volvo B7RLE 3602 KE55 CTU carries branding for the Fast F70 to Milton Keynes via Dunstable and Leighton Buzzard (c) David Bell.
