South East Bus Festival 2015 - part 2

Saturday 28th March saw the annual South East Bus Festival take place at the Kent Showground in Detling. Established in 2011 the event which is supported by Arriva has continued to grow in popularity and this year saw 112 buses and coaches, a mixture of modern and classic in attendance, just under 40 of which took part in the operation a free bus service running a circular route around the large showground site. Our regular correspondent David Bell made the long journey to Kent for the event, this is the second half of the selection of photographs he shared with us.

First up is half Arriva/half Maidstone & District liveried Northern Counties Palatine bodied Volvo Olympian P928 MKL (c) David Bell.

Here we see Arriva Explore Medway liveried Alexander ALX400 bodied Dennis Trident V304 KGW, this bus which dates from 1999 was new to London operator Connex as their TA4 (c) David Bell.

Another vehicle present from the Nu Venture fleet was this Wright bodied Volvo B10L R142 RSN, previously in the fleet of National Express Dundee (c) David Bell.

The newest bus present at the event was one of the latest additions to the smart Arriva Sapphire fleet, branded for route 101 between Gillingham and Maidstone is Alexander Dennis Enviro400 SN15 LNJ (c) David Bell.
