King's Lynn Transport Interchange update - temporary Bus Station closure between 1st and 5th June - updated

Work to transform King's Lynn Bus Station has continued to progress since our last update, the steel structures to support the feature canopy over the main departure stands were craned into position at the beginning of May, two new bus shelters have also been erected adjacent to Sainsbury's car park whilst road and footway works on Old Market Street and paving works around the Bus Station area has continue apace, the installation of new street furniture has also commenced.

The main focus of this update is to report on the further temporary stopping arrangements due to come into effect next week between 1st and 5th of June when the bus station is set to be closed completely to allow resurfacing of the Bus Station vehicular area and other works to take place, during this time whilst Southbound bus services will continue to use Portland Street all of the Northbound bus services that are currently using the temporary bus stops in the Bus Station will be relocated to Clough Lane near the St James Multi Story Car Park.

The main services that will be using the temporary departure points at Clough Lane between 1st and 5th June are Lynx 35 and Stagecoach Norfolk/Norfolk Green services Coasthopper, Fairstead One, North Lynn Too!, North Wootton Three, Pandora Four, Gaywood Five, 10, 12, X8 and 48.

Other services including National Express 011 and 308, Coach Services 12 and 40 as well as Peelings, Sanders and Eagles Tuesday and Friday shoppers services will use the coach bay on Clough Lane outside the St James Swimming Pool.
