Last week of the 'old' Norwich Park & Ride network - photo special!

With the new Norwich Park and Ride launching this coming Monday 7th September our regular correspondent David Bell visited the fine city this week for a last look at the soon to be discontinued old Park & Ride operation, below is a selection of photos showing the old order during their final week of operation...

Konectbus Mercedes Benz Citaro G 800 BD57 WDA on the to be withdrawn 604 Costessy service, it wears the new Norwich P&R livery although the bendybus operated routes from the Costessy site will no longer reach the City Centre operating instead to the University Of East Anglia and Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital only (c) David Bell.

Norse will soon no longer have a bus presence in the city with their three P&R contracted routes passing over to the new Konectbus network, their fleet of Plaxton President bodied Dennis Tridents like PN03 ULP pictured above on the 606 Postwick/Sprowston service above are expected to be withdrawn and sold (c) David Bell.
